The idea of it sounds wonderful but someone small and blonde does not allow for it in this house! X
Okay, I know I'm setting myself up for a lecture here (and may well deserve it), but would you describe to me what you mean by a "do nothing day?" What did you actually do during the day? (Inquiring minds want to know.) :o}
DEAR MAMA PEA:-chuckle- "What did I do, during a do nothing day?" Well, I never got dressed. Stayed in my 'nighty' and bathrobe, all day. We had a simple breakfast (yogurt/bagel) which took no cooking... I suggested a do-nothing day... So he went out in his garage work shop. To do things out there, which he wanted to do. Because he can NOT do a do nothing day. >,-)Leisurely read interesting parts of the weekend Wall Street Journal. Where I get reading suggestions and find cool articles. Looked at some baseball maybe... Took lovely nap.... Had left overs for dinner. Then usual quiet evening...That's it, as far as I can remember....Butttttt, I am "back on the stick" today!!!!! ,-) We changed the bed, I am washing the sheets, we went out for errands, paid our Income Taxes, I cleaned the bathroom... And it's only 2:30PM. :-))))Ahemmmmmm.... Tell me..... When are you going to have one of these do-nothing days?!?!?!?!?
I'm the queen of passing time at home where nothing gets done.
Now that I know how to do it, I may just be tempted to try it! (Can I sit on the couch and knit? Or read?) You continue to set a good example for me. :o}
Oh and thank you for sharing. I love how you did the little emojis at the end. Daenerys hooked me first and I watched online on Youtube a lot about her. She has a good interview that talked about her from childhood. She said she auditioned with all of these tall and beautiful blonds and here she was, a short, curvy brunette.
I have too many interest to invest in ado nothing day. But my hat is off to those who do enjoy and benefit from them.
What a wonderful day! I could do with a NO cook day.
No, I would get bored to tears doing absolutely nothing. I do however, have "do just the things I love and enjoy" days, wehter it is reading, sewing, messing on the computer, or going out in the campervan, as opposed to days when there are groceries to be bought, laundry to be dealt with, bathrooms to be cleaned . . .
Now that's very cool, and much deserved because you've been busy with so many things over the past few months. Occasionally, I sit and read for a good portion of the day, or watch tv, but usually about 4 hours in, I get a spurt of energy and do something meaningful around the house. I hope you're able to sneak in more of those days soon! Hugs...RO
