Net stuff............😊 ✨ 😊

Google+ for consumers will shut down on April 2nd.
.
Do you care?    I don't.
.
But if you do use it, are you prepared for shutdown?
.
A lot of bloggers did join up.   And it made finding their blogs, so difficult.   Their click-able link, took you to G+.   Where you had to search, for link to their blog.
.
So personally, I'm glad to see it disappear.  😌
.
.
"Facebook services have completely returned after a massive global outage left certain users unable to access Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp for almost 24 hours."
.
Did the massive "Fail Whale", affect you, much?????  😊
.

I'm glad to see Google+ go, I never saw the point of it in the first place. I don't use Facebook but, as you know, I joined Instagram a short while ago. I was unable to refresh it from late yesterday afternoon but it was working fine again this morning.

I never did get the hang of Google+ and I never use facebook or IG so that doesn't affect me either.

I never really got the Google+ thing, so I won't be sad to see it go. X

Glad to see the back of G+, as you say it made it very difficult to 'find' bloggers.

This won't be the last Google product to disappear however, remember when they killed the 'Reader' because it wasn't making enough money? Thankfully Feedly stepped up and has now grown into a fabulous service for keeping up with blogs.

What fail? I don't use any of those things so didn't know about it until I read your post.

I never liked Google+. I can't keep up with all the social media things. I did notice Facebook not working, but I didn't worry. It's not the end of the world if we don't have it for a while. :)

Hello Wisps of Words,

I saw your comment about searching for good soaps.
Would you like a couple of my homemade soaps? I still have olive oil+ coconut oil soaps that I made a while ago. I can send you some if you'd like, as a gift:) .

Also, there's a blogger who makes soaps and sells at Etsy.
PinkCottageSoaps.etsy.com
Her name is Stephenie and this is her blog :

I haven't used her soaps. But they look so beautiful. She makes fancy ones like goat milk soaps etc. :)

You don't have to publish this comment as it has links. I couldn't find a way to send a direct message so I decided to use the comment box.

Take care.

Nil

Luckily, my world didn't stop at these outages.

I never really used it. For me, I can only handle so much social media.

Pretty sure I am signed up but I never use it. Hoping that it will not affect me in anyway. The outage of facebook did not affect me really cause I was up doing things, stopped to check facebook and post of couple of comments only to have issues so I just figured it was a facebook hiccup, just jumped off, later that evening all was fine. Hoping your remodel is coming right along.

I never did bother with google+ so won't miss it at all and you are right it was always hard to follow a link to the writer's blog. I do use facebook just to keep up with friends and relatives far away but hand't noticed the outage as I don't go on there everyday:)

I did use Google+ but never let my blogger address go there (as far as I know) because I'm also annoyed when it leads me there and I have to search how to get to my blog. Let me know if this is not true...
Even though I'm on Facebook I haven't even noticed the outage. Whatsup (which I use to communicate with my daughter in college) worked and these days I'm not that often on Facebook. Waste of time...
