First Fire.....🔥 First Flame......🔥 First Cinder......🔥

On the weekend, we had "First Fire"....   "First Flame"....  "First Cinder".....   Whatever one wants to call it.  And then, summer returned.   -sigh-
.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
"The Dark of the Moon" was on Tuesday.  And what a "Dark," it proved to be.   -sigh-   With all the angst, concerning  this issue...
.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
But things are looking up!!!!!   My library got me "A Discovery of Witches" and it sounds delightful.    "Deep in the stacks of Oxford's Bodleian Library, young scholar Diana Bishop unwittingly calls up a bewitched alchemical manuscript in the course of her research."  (From Good Reads review...)   Old libraries,  gorgeous centuries old homes, a witch who rejects her heritage, a vampire.....    Oh yes,  oh yes!!!!
.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

"Let me keep my distance, always, from those
who think they have the answers.
Let me keep company always with those who say
"Look!" and laugh in astonishment..."

I think only book lovers can know the feeling of joy when a book you've been waiting for finally becomes available. Like getting a present!

We had snow flurries on and off all day today. A few stuck to the ground, but melted quickly. Better than our incessant rain at this point! :o]

We don't light a fire but the central heating here has been on for a while now. It warmed up again this week but the temperature is on the slide again.

We don't have an open fire here but the central heating has kicked in once or twice. Even though we have wind and rain it isn't cold as yet. Your fireplace looks so warm and cosy nice to sit in front of with your good book:)

I own that book and its trilogy!!! It's so good. I call it an intellectual, adult Twilight except the female lead is a witch. Super historical facts too.
